Professional career: Maintenance of hydraulic machines in the mining industry; design engineer for cutting tools in special tools discipline; sales, application technology and design of drive components in drivetrain, conveyor and linear drive technology. From 1993-2008 employed by the HANSA-FLEX Group, as branch manager (Düsseldorf) until 2001. From 2001-2008, director of the HANSA-FLEX Hydraulik GmbH training centre, responsible for consulting and training in the field of line equipment. From June 2008 head of training department and since 07/2012 managing director of the IHA.

Frank Weigel

Qualified as fitter, advanced studies: general mechanical engineering , higher degree (Dipl.-Ing. (FH)) in mechanical engineering.

Professional career: Mechanical engineering fitter, sales engineer for hydraulic connecting equipment, in-house and field sales technician for hydraulic equipment. 2001-2006 worked as design engineer in assembly / plant construction with HANSA-FLEX Hydraulik GmbH, starting in 2007, presented training courses for employees and customers on the elements of fluid technology, supported the divisions in qualifying employees, designing training courses and presentations on aspects of fluid technology. Since June 2008, trainer at the IHA.

Frank-Peter Fründ

Qualified as engineer and fitter for heavy open-cast mining machinery, open-cast mining master technician, advanced engineering degree (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) ) in open-cast mine engineering, instructor aptitude examination.

Professional career: From 1972-1979 fitter for plant and equipment used in open-cast lignite mining. Jörg Backhaus

Matthias Müller

Trained as machine tool technician, specialising in pressing and forming technology, technical high school diploma in Technology


Professional career: Manufacture, installation, maintenance and servicing of pressing and forming tools and operating resources in the metalworking industry. 2001 to 2013: worked at the group of companies, HANSA-FLEX AG (Nuernberg) in technical sales (until 2006), then as a branch manager in Bayreuth and and OEM account executive. Since April 2013, technical trainer for line equipment with the IHA

Marco Pohlmann

Trained as automotive mechanic with specialisation in vehicle repair and maintenance


Professional career: Specialisation in automotive engineering, car air conditioning systems and car gas fuel systems (LPG); worked at HANSA-FLEX AG (Düsseldorf ) from 2007-2011 – workshop manager since March 2009. Assumed his new position as technical trainer at the IHA in August 2011, specialising in line equipment.

Peter Poppick

Professional career: From 1992 - 2003, vocational trainer for electromechanical engineering and electrical engineering/trainer and instructor for basic and advanced courses in hydraulics and pneumatics. From 1995 to 2003, examiner with the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) for technical commercial professions, electromechanical mechanics and industrial electronic engineering. From 2003 - 2010 worked in design engineering / design of hydraulic assemblies and hydraulic systems with HANSA-FLEX Hydraulik GmbH. Since August 2010, trainer in fluid technology at the IHA.

Daniel Werner

Trained as industrial mechanic specialising in industrial engineering, state certified mechanical technician specialising in mechanical engineering and trainer certification.

Professional career: Assembly, installation, maintenance and servicing of production facilities and operating resources in the plastics processing industry. 2010-2012: worked at the group of companies, HANSA-FLEX AG, in the Quality Assurance department. Since August 2012, technical trainer for line equipment with the IHA.
